A woman of quiet strength, Corretta Scott King, who battled against racism and bigotry passed away this week. Many leaders, including the current and some past Presidents showed up and honored her. One, however chose to turn the event into a soapbox for his bigoted and malicious remarks. Jimmy Carter, arguably the worst President in U.S. history, the giver of double digit inflation, skyrocketing gas prices, and the Iranian Embassy debacle, spewed forth meaningless garbage about everything from the War in Iraq, to Katrina. Nary a word about Mrs. King or the greatness of the life she lead. Sad to see in this country when a genuinely good persons funeral is turned into a ultra left wing propaganda opportunity. Mr. Carter, you should stick with peanut farming and building homes for the underprivileged, because you sir are an embarrassment to the Democratic party, and to this great country.
