Saved
I have been so busy lately that I have not had time to make any entries. This one though is special to me. My Dad has been saved. Now for those who have read my other entries, you know my father is a God fearing man, and a Catholic all his life. A few weeks ago, he went to his first ever men's retreat. I was unable to go because of family and business commitments, but my brother-in-law went with him. Now my Dad, who is 69 years young (and just finished his last round of chemo, YEA!) is not a big singer, or one to let on about his beliefs too much, but he was so overcome by the Spirit at this retreat, that he sang himself hoarse. The most stunning part of the weekend was the last morning, when the Pastor was calling anyone who wanted to accept Christ as their Savior to come down and be prayed with. Much to my brother-in-laws surprise, when he looked up, there was my Dad. Absolutely awesome! He publicly claimed Christ as his Lord and Savior! I cannot begin to express the emotions I felt when I heard that. After getting home, he told us he was a new man, he could feel the difference. Of course to him he was not saved, as he had always accepted Christ, but it was his way of showing others how much God means in his life. I have always been proud of my father, but never more proud than after that weekend! Yea God, another soul delivered!

Likewise, I say unto you,
there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Luke 15:7
We also rejoice with you and the angels!
Praise God for His goodness!
